They just look online and see big dollar amounts on some very well done truck, then look at the thing they just purchased or took in on trade and figure they can get the same if the paint is decent. The other reasons - the bed, tailgate obviously worked to mimic an original Super style, steering wheel, tach, pedals, cut dash - are just what's easy to see on the surface and point to some serious corners likely being cut in places not so easy to see. I wasn't ragging on the person who did the build if that's what they truly wanted. But I am thinking that if they cobbled it together and painted it to sell at a huge profit, or if they traded it in and the dealership is expecting to make big bucks from someone who doesn't know better, that just isn't right.
