Brake Booster Conversion ??s

I'm looking at Buying the Captain Fab Bracket for my 1960 Suburban. I plan to eventually, if not immediately, go with Disc up front and drum in the rear, but there is a slight chance I'll stick for a while with the drum/drum setup. Speaking with one aftermarket company it sounded like I can use the same Master/Booster Combo either way, the key component is in the proportioning valve, as in whether or not I use one and how it's adjusted if discs are involved.

Any knowledge on that is appreciated.

If that won't work, then I just need to know the best year of Master/Booster Combo to buy for Captain Fab's Bracket for my year. What additional mods should I expect? Does the push-rod need modded? If so, what's the easiest/best way to do this? Thread them together?
