68 K20 originality?
I'm looking for better trained eyes than my own to know what's original and what isn't in this engine room.
The truck is a 68 K20 Custom with C & C Equipment. It's a pretty closely held California truck since new. Represented at 30,000 original miles, yet a rebuilt 327. It's clear (to me) intake, carburetor, A/C, distributor, coil, have all been added or upgraded. My primary interest relates to the power steering and the brake booster. Could the power steering be original if not listed on the SPID tag? Brake booster doesn't look original, and seems to be mounted a bit close to the alternator. It appears to be a different shape than others I've seen. Power brakes also not listed on the tag. Other thoughts are welcome. I haven't yet seen the truck in person, just looking at the photos. Lastly, are these door panels an original style or material? Thanks for the help. I'm pretty new here, but lots of knowledgeable folks on this forum. |
