My "Good Deed" for the day!

What "Good Deed?" Well, I saved a 1966 from the crusher. Just sold it and it will legally become a driver.

The story: About 15 months ago I bought a 1966 short fleet that was headed to the crusher. Yes, the scrap yard man actually had it scheduled for towing. We talked and he gave me the guys number. Had no title. Cab was really rough. Didn't run.

Fast forward 6 months. I hired a lady to secure a title for me. Had the truck towed to a repair shop I know. This was necessary because SC will not issue titles for abandoned vehicles to anyone but business owners.

Fast forward to May 2017. I now have a clear SC title. Had the truck towed home again. Sold it within 10 hours after listing it on Facebook.

As you can see from the pics and video in the link, it will require plenty of work. However, I take satisfaction knowing I saved it from the crusher.
