Late model Tahoe Bose sub
So when my friend upgraded the stereo system in his 2011 Tahoe, I asked for the old stuff (since he was going to chuck it). One of the items was the subwoofer.
I looked at it and thought it would never work under the seat. As i was putting fat mat in my cab, I pulled the jack and tools to add material in those areas. I thought "what the heck, lets see how that sub sounds in place of the 6x9" under the seat" - sounded pretty good, way better than the 6x9. I looked in the corner of the cab and noticed if i turned the sub up on its side, it may fit, and it did. It is wedged in pretty good with the jack tools spring adding the needed tension, but I can add something to hold it in at the top using the existing hole for something if need be. When I put my seat back in, the seat fit perfectly against it, so no need at all. Sounds amazing with the 6.6" kick panel speakers and the sub bridged on the rear channel. So no more 6x9 boxes under the seats! Just an amp. My only concern is that Bose ohms are goofy and I may need to upgrade just the speaker. Don't mind the wiring, this is when I first got it to fit I snapped the picture. the truck will be at brother show and shine to check it out if you want.
