Lt1 4l60 swap sticky/thread?

Hey guys,

I've decided on an Lt1/4L60 swap for my '65 stepside. I've got about 9 months of planning time coming up so I want to do as much learning as I can. I did some searching on here for one but came up with nothing. Has anyone seen a thread detailing the complete swap anywhere, or at least a source that was super helpful for any of you who've done the swap?

I'm not too worried about the electrical stuff bc for some reason that stuff "clicks" in my head and I know there's a ton about it out there. I'm more wondering about any needed fabrication i.e. Engine mounts/clearance issues things like that. Also any issues with cam upgrades.

This will be my first venture into the fuel injected realm so really anything will help. Thanks guys, love this forum

Tom
