I too have a Camaro clip on the 54, and they are a bit wide for the 47-54. I cut an inch out of the top and bottom a frames. Later I found out about the race arms from speedway. I wish I would of known before I narrowed the tops. They work fine just not that easy to do.

Didn’t know about the G-body frames. Sounds like you’re on the right track.
