Back to life

Hey all, i have been away a long time and my truck took the brunt of the time away. A little back story.

Father and i bought the truck when i was 13 him an i spent the next 3 years making it to be a daily driver, changed motor, clutch and just learning how to wrench on things. High school graduation present was a low cost paint job it was a 15' away paint job but it was not important. Truck survived many years of daily driving and mods as i was able to afford them. Truck got parked in 2003 needed a transmission and a few other things but it just got put on back burner and pulled in to a barn. Fast forward to 2016, moved out of state and left the truck behind. May 2017 my father gets terminal cancer with my new job, life, family, and kids i did't have time or a means to spend as much time as i would have liked with him in the last few years, but there was a good 13 years before i moved that i spent almost every weekend working/riding on Harley's with him. I get the word that things are progressing fast, drop everything fly home and was able to spend the last month of his life with him...

Now after he got diagnosed with cancer he with out me knowing had my truck brought it back to life had all the body work done removed the tank and put it under the bed installed a nv3500 5 speed he gave it back to me 1 week before he passed away. See the different stages of the truck in the pictures below.

Well now i have a chance to change out the tired old 350/t5 and swap in a new power plant. Plans are a t56 and the lq4 have a cam coming and am going this weekend to pick up a t56. also there is a set of 20" Torque Thruster II that are waiting with tires on them. This project was planed to be done with my my father but now it will be done with me and my daughter.

Thanks all i could not have built the truck to where it was with out your help.
