Another use for CLR
I bought a $20 grill shell a little while back, it had been laying in the back of a truck bed for many years and had heavy green and black stains. I got it out yesterday with the intent of cleaning it up. I washed it with dish detergent to get the heavy crud off, but it still didn't look too good. Took some lacquer thinner and worked on it for about 30 minutes...still not looking too great?
I thought well it may be time to strip and polish?? But that look wouldn't fit my driver truck. Then I thought about CLR....I'll give it a try. Wow, what a difference!! about 10 minutes and the grill looked awesome. took off all the staining and rough texture from the black and green crud. just thought I'd share. |
