68 Chevy to GMC hood conversion question

When I bought my truck, it had a chevy hood on it. I got the GMC letters in the meantime and pulled off the Chevy letters. I obviously need to drill out (3?) new 3/4"? holes in the back side of the hood in order to install the nuts.
1. Where specifically do those go?
2. Does anyone have a template for where the stud holes should be placed on the outer skin of the hood?

(I've included some pictures of the current status of the hood).
