case length is longer on the 4l80 over a th400 .

but your old 400 has a long tail shaft / housing . so the 4l80 fixed yoke is shorter .

thats why its different for the length .

not nit picking your info . but just clarifying for other people later who will find this in a search .

pics with specific info .

i like the build direction with efi and overdrive . helps a lot on long hauls .
