Anybody tried this?

Toying with the idea of installing one of the newer style full replacement bumper and grill guard onto a 84 Squarebody Chevy.

I realize bumper contour won't mate. I'll likely push the assembly out a little and use diamondplate to cover the gap. I also realize I will be fabricating mounts.

The question becomes: Which bumper (still in production) has the best chance of fitting the closest Outside measurement of truck? Contour of front end. Etc.

06 GM?
91 Dodge?
Other year of any American Made truck?

Thoughts?
Comments?
Suggestions?
