Newbie Old Guy

I've been lurking on this site for a while, so it's probably time for me to introduce myself.. I'm a retired auto mechanic, having worked in the field for over 30 years. I've been retired since before the turn of this century. Over the years I've owned numerous light duty trucks -- used them mostly to tow my "toys" to the race tracks.. My current "site friendly" truck is a '71 short wide Chevy c/10 Cheyenne Super.. It's been "shaved" and lowered slightly.. BBC 454/350 power train.. I've lusted after this particular truck for about 7 years and just recently, convinced the owner to sell it to me.. It needs a little work but nothing serious.. I hope to pick up some pointers and perhaps impart a few tips of my own..
