One Rare '67
Yesterday my neighbor April mentioned that her Dad owned a very rare 1967 C10. As she described the truck to me, I was pretty skeptical. She said that the truck had hide-a-way headlights with a black egg crate grille.
I asked if it would be possible to see the truck in person. She texted me the directions and my buddy Peter (aka Cottontail) and I hopped in his basket case C10 and went on the hunt. The truck was located just off Rabbit Valley Road near the local Cadbury Egg factory. We knocked on the door, and found that April’s dad was at work. His wife Bunny told us that the truck was hidden in a shed behind the garden. As the shed door opened, Peter and I began hopping around in eggcitement. There it was... a 1967 RS C10 Shortbed with hidden headlights, nose stripe and those funky fake mag wheel hubcaps. We knew immediately that this truck was a prize find. Bunny had baked a carrot cake that morning and invited Peter and I in for coffee and cake. I foolishly asked if the truck happened to be for sale. Bunny just smiled. We saw April later that day and told her what fools we had been for trying to buy such a rare truck. Just when you think you’ve seen it all. POP
