Lowering using springs only
So I've searched the forums on this subject and I know now that drop spindles are best, cutting coils is something that works for some people but I am not prepared to do so, and that if I had a large budget I could basically accomplish anything.
My 1970 has springs and drum brakes all around, so I am hoping that I can do a sensible 2/4 drop using only springs and new shocks. Some time down the road I will go to spindles and disc brakes, but those days are far ahead of me, check out my pic below. I'm really only doing this because all four shocks are completely trashed and I thought I might take advantage of this time to drop it a little bit. If it is possible and advisable to do this mild drop only using springs and new shocks, what kit would you recommend?
