Converting from points to Electric.
When converting to electronic ignition on a 65, how do I wire up the dist and starter???
On my freinds 65 he has a plug with two wires on the pasenger side firewall that lead into the starter, one is for the right soleniod terminal, it is black on his truc and then there is a yellow one. How do I wire it up to work. Truck is timed and ready to crank but it just won't. Also the alternator is wired up to bypass the voltage regulator due to an internal one. one wire from the plug (white) is hooked up to the plug in back of the alt. and then the other one (red) runs into the cab and into the Ign. Unfused terminal. I dont know why its like this...but it is. So short...HOW DO I WIRE UP AN ELECTRIC DIST AND ALTERNATOR ON A 65!!!
