77 k10 brake question

Working on changing out my front rotors and calipers, but im having an issue with the rotor assembly.
If I am correct I have to punch out the wheel studs for the 2 pieces to separate, right?
And what about all the gears, etc for the 4wd that are in the hub housing, do they just fall out or stay on the axel shaft?
Also what grease is supposed to be in the axel housing?

Thank you all for your responses, its greatly appreciated.
