NP205 Transfer case tear down

Hello I am looking for ideas to help solve this issue.

I have watched and read about hitting the output shaft with a deadblow hammer to remove the shaft from the bearing and the assenbly comes out as a unit. I can't get the shaft to move out of the bearing. I have whacked it with the DB hammar and with a brass pin and 4 lb hand sledge. Still won't move

HELP!
