Ride height

Hey guys, I have a 67 c10 has a 3 inch drop from cutting the frint springs. Over the weekend I rebuilt the front end and installed a cpp sway bay. I torqued everything I put the wheels back on and lowes it back on the ground. It sits like 2 inches higher now. Anyone have any ideas? Was it because I had the springs and shocks out for a week?
Does it need to settle or did I do something wrong. The front end was all moog parts nothing fancy. Still using old cut springs. Thanks in advance
