Sold the 4x4 Longhorn Fantasy Truck Today
-
I really hated to let this one go but I have a couple of other projects I really need to finish, so down the road it went. I have had it for 6 or 7 years and had actually just started driving it regularly last summer. The guy that bought it has been trying to buy it from me ever since I started putting it together. He farms the land around my property and every Spring and Fall when he came over to work in the fields he would ask me if I had "his" truck done yet. When he came over to pick corn last fall he said he would be back with some cash after he got the crops in. I never saw anything of him until today and he showed up with a fist full of cash, and said he was going to drive the truck home. It didn't take long to come to an agreement with all that green stuff in front of my nose... I know he will take good care of it. He said the first thing he was going to do was buy new wheels and tires. I didn't really like the wheels that were on it but I always had selling it in the back of my mind so I couldn't see buying anything for it, and just let the new owner pick out what he wanted. Bye-Bye Longhorn..... LockDoc
