Auto tilt column

$250 shipped in lower 48

Please respond in thread only per board rules, first "I'll take it" gets it. PayPal is fine, or whatever works for you.

Selling a motor home tilt column, but it has most of the truck features. This was removed from an early 70's motor home, it was a weird chassis I've never seen before.

The NSS hole is in the truck position, never had a switch installed. It had the remains of tape over the opening and the fastener holes are un-threaded.

The lower shift arm is also the truck type.

It has the truck-style rubber oval shaped boot. It was just hanging out under the dash. The 2-bolt flange wasn't there.

The hazard button is the old style, as is the shift indicator font.

Tilt mechanism is tight and smooth. It has a slight tightness at the upper-most adjustment. This is due to one of the lock pawls having a slightly tall tooth. It doesn't affect the workings of it, but I wanted to disclose it.

The 4 bolts in the tilt mechanism that typically loosen over time have been removed and reinstalled with lock-tight.

Tilt pivots were cleaned and lubed when removed to tighten the bolts.

The bottom bearing was greased and is in good shape.

The shift indicator bulb was replaced and tested OK, it has the amber shade on it.

Shifter lever end (inside column) is good, pivot is average

Turn signal, tilt lever, and shifter lever are nice

Turn signal switch is tight and cancels as it should

Turn signal has the curved connector

The illumination wire is long enough to be spliced well under the dash

No Neutral Safety/Reverse switch

This column is good for a driver. It's clean but has some scratches and some thin paint toward the top of the tube, as well as some runs on the indicator housing. Must have been a Friday build.

It would be a great candidate for a scuff and shoot if you wanted to make it really nice.

I'm including a shift indicator from Speedway Motors, they had a $5 sale on them and I picked up a couple. It fits, not sure how it lines up with the actual gear selected.
