Shortening my E brake

To finish my E brake set up I need to shorten my front cable.

1950 frame. 1984 c10 2wd axle, drums. Also used the c10 E brake under the dash too. There's a bracket I need to take off donor frame to hold rear cables but that's easy enough.

Pictures show the type of adjuster it has. Since the front cable was too long I originally just cut it behind the cable end. A closer picture of where ends come together shows how I need to copy it.

And I bought a rear brake line that was to short. The rubber one from axle to frame. How do you go about getting the proper length? I figured people who swap axles or lift their trucks have to do this alot.
