Gotta question for you 67-72 guys...

Do you fellas know if it would be possible to use the rails for a wood bed floor from a 67-72 in my 1980 GMC longbed? I've got a good bed front, good tubs, and new bedsides comin soon (I hope!) but I can't afford to get a new steel floor too... I was thinking I could use the brackets / rails or whatever they are called from a truck like your guy's in mine and use some of that wood I've got lying around here...

Any thoughts?
