best way to ship a pair of trucks ?
i am trying to help my cousin ship 2 trucks from california to pensylvania (i know i spelled it wrong). both are 4x4s, one longbed and one shortbed, neither runs but between the pair there are enough parts and rustfree sheetmetal to build a super nice truck. a buddy of my dad's wants them to build a truck but i have never shipped a vehicle so i have no idea how to get started and what a fair price to pay would be. the gentleman that wants them was quoted $8K for both by a shipper in his area, round trip is about 5200 miles. would it be cheaper for him to fly out here and rent a big u-haul and trailer and tow them that way ? any help would be appreciated.
