283 Block

[Misled]

I posted this once on a 55-57 Chevy (car) forum and got no interest........

I was cleaning out my garage and came across a block that I've had since I was 17 (boy, that's been a while!!!) that, by the numbers is a 1957 283, casting number 3731548.....

I'm offering it to a 57 enthusiast for the rock bottom price of $0.00 (or a ballcap....)!!!, but it isn't without it's drawbacks....

It's been cracked around the oil filter and repaired (I never even noticed it until I stripped the paint), it has no main caps, and it's a bit rusty. I also can't can't determine the stamp numbers. Give me an e-mail at bcon@alltel.net if ya want it!!!!
