HO Vortec 350?

I recently purchased a short block for a 350 build for my '68. I was told it was a vortec out of a '98 truck. The casting number, 10243880 checked out. I know the 880 blocks were used for the L31 engines and also a few zz4'. However once I tore it down I noticed the pistons had and H-O stamped onto them. Does this mean this block was one of the few 880's that were used as HO 350's? Does this really mean anything at all powerwise or was this just a factory stamp for manufacturing purposes?
