Putting a 6.2L in place of a 305

Was wondering if anyone has any tips for putting a 6.2L in place of a 305 in an '85 1/2 ton 4wd. It appears rather straight forward, but something always seems to come up. Figured those that have done it might have some pointers.

Thanks.
