If there were salvage 5 lug 5X5 pattern axles that fit 67-69's, I would have a hoard of them...I don't...LOL

I also agree, rear disc is NOT needed. It's more of a status deal. Front disc brakes ARE NEEDED, without doubt!!!
THose here that like their no stopping, grabbing to one side, fading, non braking when wet drum brakes. I will NOT argue with you, it's still a free country, for at least another year

Converting 6 lug axles can be done. BUT I would only do it as a way to mount 5 lug wheels on a pickup to keep it off the ground, while doing work to it, or storing it. You have to machine down the wheel pilot, 5 lug is smaller. Worst part is one of the 5 lug holes has to be in part of one of the 6 hug holes. So one hole will have to be welded up and machined flat, THEN that one 5 lug hole has to be partially drilled in that welded up area. A lot of work, and I don't like the idea of welding an axle.....
