Roll Pan w/Nerf Bars

I don't know if I ever saw a truck with nerfs and a roll pan. I'd like to see pictures if anyone has any. I'm thinking front but front or rear. I came to know roll pans on '40s/'50s cars when I was a kid building models. They'd run chrome nerf bars or nerf bumpers. Like what a circle track car would have or drag car on back to push. It or they could be vertical or horizontal. Just a minimal bumperette rather than nothing at all. Any pictures?

I like to leave them alone more than modify, but I do like to dream customs up and will always admire a well done custom.

Just one example:

Note: I realize the terminology "nerf bar" has been changed these days to also mean the truck accessories that are tubes on the side of the truck to use as a step. But I'm talking about the older definition from hot rods, customs, and race cars as front or rear bumpers
