Re: My Big Fat Renovation
Not much to show, but making progress. We finally had a string of 3 nice days in a row (fri/sat/sun).
Don't let your giant shop sit for a month. All your *bleeping bleep bloop bleep* stuff will move. My fault. We slapped up trusses quick to save $ and kick the crane out. Apparently if you start half the final bracing and leave it all uncovered, it will shift. My fault. The back wall was still straight (the front wall had pushed out over and inch because of the weight of the half braced ceiling pushing against it) so I braced the piss out of the back wall and used a cable to pull it all back within an 1/8". It's all straightening back out, but it's been slow. I'm probably going to have to pressure wash all the black crap off so I don't fail an inspection for "mold". It will have a full tarp by thanksgiving, I can't leave it open anymore.
