Here’s my k1500 dark olive poly before and after polish of the original paint.

Can’t do this with b/c paint jobs...

Yep, Medium olive and dark olive were metallic colors. They faired better if you kept them waxed. The medium olive was really bad about fading.

My dad had a 71 C10 that was dark Olive. His paint held up well, but he never parked it outside. Oh, BTW his is another SS paint job. Even if it does fly in the face of what I said about metallic not holding up well.
