Cruiser71 the 40* temp was a joke. I see every one else seems to have taken it as intended. If the heat shield fixes your problem then go for it, I was just saying to check everything else first. Electrical gremlins are no fun, and are seldom what they seem to be at first, just look at the myriad answers you got to your post.
