Dropping the column
The first time I did this, when I dropped the plate that holds the pedal stop bolted to the dash and under the column clamp the dash moved inward. The seat was out and still had to do some prying to get the dash holes to line up. I had to drop it again recently this time the seat was back in and if I tried to get between it and the pedals I would still be there. So I designed this hi-tech tool to go between the firewall and dash, worked like a charm, bolt holes lined up. I thought I would pass it along it may help someone save some time when dropping the column.
