1994 Chevy Blazer 4 wheel drive - Field find
My oldest son turns 16 in Nov. We needed a first car for him. We had been driving past this Blazer the last couple years that was parked next to a barn at a farm 20 min from our house.
The PO stated it had a fuel delivery problem and the tank was already partially taken out/apart. I also came with a new fuel pump (more on that later), a new battery and new spark plugs and wires. All of which needed to be installed. We dragged it home Friday and got to work Sunday. Here were our discoveries: Tank is shot...One large hole and a ton of rust. The rear fuel line is shot. The rear brake line has a leak in it - Since been replaced The "New" fuel pump is for a truck not a Blazer. New fuel delivery parts have been ordered. The plans will be to get it mechanically sound then make it look cool. Fender flares and new rims and tires and rust/paint repair are a must. Let the fun (father and son) project begin. Marc
