Windshield w/trim question

I decided to replace the windshield rubber on my 68 C20 as it was old, hard and leaking.

I had swapped a windshield rubber on another and it went well, but it didn’t have the trim.

So I read a bunch of threads in here to get hints, bought a Precision gasket, and watched the Precision YouTube video.

Took a couple of try’s. Each time I did start pulling my rope from the top. Had a helper pushing from the outside.

The rubber is not sitting right for about 12” on the right top corner. Everywhere else it looks good. There is a gap between the rubber and windshield.

So is the trim not seated properly behind the glass?

If so sny tricks to get that part in?
I am wondering about having a helper press flat hands on the inside of the glass and then trying to tap the trim with my soft hammer?

Or am I starting over?
