1967 C10 cigarette lighter socket
Hey fellas, I’m trying to piece my 1967 C10 together, garage burned about 6 months ago, I lost all of my parts but I didn’t lose my truck.
I’m currently trying to get my interior put together and I’m quickly learning how different the 67 is to the 68-72. Can anyone confirm that the 1967 cigarette lighter socket is smaller in dia then a 68-72? I am trying to install the one that came in my AAW wiring kit and it won’t physically fit into the hole in the dashboard All of the kits online show 67-72, I don’t see anything 67 specific. I know the knob on the actual lighter is different but I’m just wondering if someone can confirm that the socket is and if perhaps the 66 body style is the same? So much is different that I didn’t even realize. Ignition retainer etc all 1 year only, seat belt bolts are even a different thread pitch |
