But, it is leaving spots on the driveway. (to my wifes dismay!)

I was thinking oil leaks, not tire(s) marks for some reason. 1406 should be good now but when they better exhuast upgrade is done Im sure it will be on the leaner side. It could be already with your cam. It would be a good idea to find out why the spark plugs are getting fouled dry or wet (gas/oil). Could be valve seals, valve guides, intake manifold gasket, stuff along that line. It will help in getting the 1406 jetting right a lot easier.
