55.2-59 Windshield Fitment 55-59

I have seen quite a few 55-59 trucks' windshield fitment issues. Where the cab windshield frame comes around on the bottom and then goes up, the rubber does not seem to fit well, and it's common to even have an opening to the inside of the cab.

Here is a truck that was really nice - lots of nice mods and paint, but yet there are fitment issues on both sides. On this side, its open to the inside of the cab.

Is there something we can do in the fab stage to help this problem?
