Non-Bellcrank Brake Booster
I don't really like how the factory brake booster/master cylinder angles down on the 67-72's. It seems that conversion kits also use the bell crank design and pictures seem to show it to angle down too.
When I converted my 66 the kit used a straight pushrod and I simply connected the pushrod to the pedal arm. I can't remember if I connected it lower as it normally would be. I don't think it could have been lower as the master cylinder is level.
My question is why can't I do that on a 68? Is it a firewall bolt-on compatibility issue?
Has any body tried this?
