what to do about needing a longer driveshaft
so my pig originally had a 700r4.
i have a brand new th350 w/ 6" tailshaft that i have to/want to use. this is about 3" shorter than the original 700r4. the truck(burb) has a 2pc driveshaft with carrier and slip joint. i need a longer front half of the driveshaft. how do i go about that? i know i could have one made but thats a ton of cash right there. last time i had a shaft made with my original ends it was $300 and that was 6 years ago. is something like a crew cab longer in the front half to have shortened, or were the fronts all the same and the rears were shorter/longer?
