Faded Glory (1971 med bronze patina refresh)
The name Faded Glory came to me while dragging this truck home. Like a comfortable pair of well broken in jeans. A few tears and plenty of signs of use, but comfortable to wear.
It has a 350/350 setup with power steering and not a whole lot else. It was ordered to be a truck, and I can tell that’s how it was used. I always like the upper trim only for some reason, and the white rims and bumper compliment the two-tone white roof. This will be another “refresh”. My plan is to get the mechanicals repaired (tune up, brakes, electrical functional), new white stripe tires, replace the black interior vinyl, and clean ad detail everything. I haven’t decided if it needs hubcaps or wheel covers just yet. No lowering, cutting, or big wheels. Those are just not my thing.
