Do you think that goes for fuel filters also? I run a canister type fuel filter on my 68 truck in the fuel line just before the carburetor. I try to change it regularly. However, when I rebuild the two barrel carburetor, I always find a layer of very fine sediment in the bottom of the float bowl.

I run a Purolator F20011 or a Purolator F21115 fuel filter. Does anyone know if NAPA makes an equivalent?

I have always run FRAM PF-13 oil filters, because they are low priced and very common at places like K-Mart. But now, K-Mart does not seem to stock that particular part No. of filter any more.
However, I think I am going to start running NAPA.
