What did you get done?
I'm on call this weekend so I didn't get much truck stuff done. I washed both of drivers but that was about it until today. After church I came home and worked with my landscaper crew for a while. Then I took off to repair some video games and drop by a local salvage yard.
The POS that came with my 77 Cheyenne doesn't work and I wanted something shorter anyway. I figured an 88-98 GM truck scissor jack would do the trick. I went by a local salvage yard that specializes in late model salvage looking for a jack. I found exactly what I wanted in a mid 90 Tahoe that had never been used. I also made a gruesome discovery while I was there. Read this for details I checked the jack to see if it will work under the 77 when it's aired out. It won't go under the A-arms, but it will go under the frame. I put the jack and handle storage set behind my seat and it fits nice. I feel a little better about road trips now. What did you get done....?
