Help with casting #s please

Howdy all,

I finally decided to drag my big belly over into the engine compartment and find what motor I'm running. Dang those #s are hard to see.

Anyway, turns out according to this page, 14010201 is a '80-'84 305 which is what I was told when I bought the truck.

The guy I bought it from gave me a extra complete engine minus intake and told me it was 350. If I'm reading it right, the same page says that 3970010 could be either a 1968 327 or a 69-79 350.

Is there another way to determine if its a 327 or a 350? Or am I reading the page wrong?

All help is appreciated.
