Camaro 5 speed

When I converted my truck to a 350/700R4 I didn't like the idea of an automatic. The motor is a crate engine, but after that all I could afford was a junkyard 700R4. It recently blew after 6,000 miles. OD and 3rd went suddenly on the highway...with no slippage warning I might add!!! The truck did have a manual 3 speed, but they suck. I searched local junkyards, in SC, for about 3 months during the suspension/motor build. I couldn't find a single 5spd manual out of a 90's Chevy truck. After I installed the tranny I thought about the 5sp in a v-6 s-10 or camaro. I don't believe these trannys would hold up in my truck. I REALLY wanted a 6 speed and I did find one in a junkyard....for $2,000 So that was out.... I really want a manual with OD back in my truck, could y'all help me with what would fit? What if the clutch is hydraulic? What would I need to do to install the hydraulic clutch? Looks like there isn't much room with the power brake booster in the way. Would I need a bellhousing conversion kit? I know I'd probably have to find a new driveshaft...already shortened for 700R4. Where could I get a crossmember and out of what? Will the automatic crossmember work? Will a 3.73 gear be ok with this transmission or is it too low? I know thats a lot of questions, but I love my truck and I miss the manual.
