700R4 question

I just acquired a 700R4 out of a mid 80's van... It came with only the detent cable... I am planning on changing the fluid, filter and adding a shift kit to it and buying a new converter.

How do you wire up the valve body to lock up the converter? It seems like I read somewhere that you wire the solenoids up a certain way to run off of one 12v wire?

If so does anyone know how or where to get the directions for this?

Thanks,
Bryan
