Beefing Up Suspension...

I'm looking to beef up the suspension on my '72 Cheyenne. As I'm already confuzzed... Can anyone offer advise on what the most effective and durable options are to beef my half ton truck up to carry extra weight in the bed? I'm bottoming out currently when picking up a 2 cubic yard of mulch.

Thanks in advance...
