Correct flexplate/torque conv bolt size???

What is the correct flexplate to torque converter bolt size on a '70 w/ 350/350?

The PO put in bolts that are only slightly over 1/4" & therefore the flexplate/t.c. don't line up just right. There is a lot of excessive lateral movement & is the one of the suspected culprits w/ my tranny acting up. I think it caused my front pump to go bad.

Oh yeah, the torque converter is a 3 ear stock converter, non-threaded holes (bolt & nut required).
