Next Step?

I thought I' had solved my battery draw down problem by finding a loose connection, but the problem is still there after I fixed the wire. I attached a test light between the neg. battery post, (neg cable removed first), and the large red wire at the alternator and the test light lights up. If I understood ya'll correctly, this should NOT happen if the electrical system is fine, right? So that means that SOMETHING is drawing power from the battery overnight, right?
I pulled fuses one at a time, and the light NEVER went out!???? Where would ya'll suggest going from here? For what it's worth, the test light did NOT light when I touched the smaller dark blue wire at the alternator.
