a/c question for you....

Here is an A/C connection for you... I just finished hooking up my A/C in my 72 Chevy truck... I am thinking I have it backwards…

Shouldn’t the ac compressor get hot instead of cold? Plus the dryer is getting cold? Shouldn’t it get hot? The evaporator was not hot either?

I am guess I have it backwards… Shouldn’t the low side of the compressor run to the dryer then to the condenser back to the evaporator to the high side of the compressor??
Something is not computing… How should the system be hooked up?

I am a little confused here any clarification would be greatly appreciated. I have an R-134A compressor on this system…

Can I switch to freeze 12 with this compressor? Or should I stick with the 134a? I think once I get the system straight it will work wonderful!

Thoughts?
